My Life In Blog In the summer of 2013, I started a blog entitled, “My Life in Blog” and I wrote about my life and the struggles and problems that I was experiencing during that time. I used the blog as a way to make sense of my past relationships and to vent about the lack of direction in my life. The encouragement and support that I received from the blogging community allowed me to find a sense of purpose and provided me with enough confidence to share more intimate stories from my past. I wrote around 25 posts that ranged from me talking about my first relationship of my life to writing a letter to my future daughter. I recently read some of my old posts and I was surprised that I sounded so naïve and optimistic in those writings. I couldn’t help but laugh at all the thoughts and worries that I discussed because all those uncertainties seem pretty inconsequential to me now. I enjoyed looking back at my blog that I started 10 years ago and to see that, despite my negative thinking and bleak outlook on the world, I still had a sense of hope. I want to share that sense of hope with everyone even if it is coming from a young twenty-something year-old who struggled to find himself. I hope you enjoy reading my old posts as much as I did. Thank you for your time. My life in blog Life: A message to my future daughter Comments (8) This is awesome this is what I’m doing right now! Thanks for liking my post! I hope to be able to organize my website more in the future, in the meantime, I’m just writing and enjoying this. Reply I’m glad you’re enjoying the process of writing 🙂 Reply I started a blog in Spain in the Summer of 2015 which now finally is almost a novel. I’m glad you are writing. Don’t stop. ⭐️ Reply Wow! I can’t wait to hear more about your novel. And thank you for the encouraging words. Reply Looking back is something I do more often these days – being in my seventh decade of life probably accounts for that. But looking back is always a good way to see how we’ve grown and changed and that is always helpful. Sending you my best wishes and hoping that you keep writing. Linda Reply This is a huge inspiration, I’ve been thinking about either doing a total new blog or just do a complete overhaul on my current site. I too have posts from yet another blog I’d abandoned before starting my current blog. I really like the section you have set up for past entries called journals. I may totally have to do something similar 😉 I’ve enjoyed your blog so far and am going to check out some of the posts. Your doing a great job and I love your style! Reply Sweet bro That’s sort of what I am doing on my blog Part written memoir/part graphic novel Reply I have been writing since 2013. But never got to actually posting those writings for everyone to see. I always found writing as a way to organize my thoughts. Sometimes just to pour out my emotions through them. But recently, I realized there is not enough mental support a person can get sometimes. Like you mentioned, we all need to see someone else and relate to them to not feel alone and find courage to move on. So I very recently started posting my writings. Yours is one of the first blogs that I am able to relate. Thank you for your asking thinking and writing! I hope mine are able to help others as well.
